Stone sculpture

There are works of stone sculpture on display in the Cloister, and among the most remarkable of them are the stone baptismal fonts.

Baptismal fonts

The stone baptismal fonts date from the 12th century and are for the most part from the valley of the Meuse. They are decorated with motifs drawn from architecture, flora and Christian symbolism; compositions with figures are rare and appear on just two items.

Architectonic constructions

The other works are fragments of architectonic constructions and include capitals, lintels, tympanums and pillars, besides tombstones and church furniture.
