Inuit. Graphic Journey in the Far North
19.03.22 − 22.05.22
The Museum of Art & History joins the Picture Festival! in order to discover an art form that is still largely unknown: Inuit printmaking. The exhibition presents about twenty prints and some sculptures from the collection of the Belgian poet Carl Norac. These works, produced by 19 artists (mainly women) using various printmaking techniques, illustrate themes such as the Arctic marine life, shamanism and mythology.
