Curator in residence: Works of Art & Copies + Vernissage

This spring, the plaster cast workshop welcomes Laurence Petrone as curator in residence for a four-day exhibition.

17 contemporary artists are invited to a dialogue with the plaster cast workshop, its collection and the ancient craftsmanship preserved there. From this dialogue and inspired by the curator's questions, each of them makes one new creation. The artists have been selected because of how the act of copying is at various degrees present in their artistic practice.

Program of 17/04:

6.45pm-7.30pm: Round table on the exhibition and its publication, with Carine Fol (Curator Art in Public Space, City of Brussels), Simon Delobel (Artistic Director KIOSK, Ghent), Nele Strobbe (Collection Manager Plaster Cast Workshop RMAH), Laurence Petrone (curator in residence). Please be on time if you wish to attend!
